- Conduct deep, data-driven macroeconomic research across various asset classes, emphasizing thematic and cross-asset strategies.
- Generate impactful investment ideas and contribute to the firm's product enhancement.
- Write detailed and insightful research notes, reports, and market commentaries.
- Provide high-level client coverage, engaging with clients to understand their needs and delivering bespoke research and analysis.
- Work collaboratively within a small team of about five members, under the guidance of a Senior Macro Strategist.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in investment research, ideally in an investment bank as an on desk strategist.
- Demonstrated ability in data-driven analysis, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to quickly respond to market actions and have real time communications with clients (rather than just publishing weekly/monthly reports)
- Strong background in developing thematic, cross-asset macro research.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing research publications and client presentations.
- Experience in client interaction and relationship management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
