We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school with a GOOD Ofsted rating.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students across various age and ability levels.Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Implement the school's curriculum and ensure that teaching methods are aligned with curriculum standards and objectives.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic achievement and personal growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in mathematics instruction and contribute to the overall improvement of the department and school.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance in accordance with school policies and procedures.Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related events as required.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in a mainstream school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of mathematics curriculum standards and assessment practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support the overall mission and goals of the school.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to stay updated on current educational trends and practices.
Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into mathematics instruction is desirable.
