Who you'll be working for:

Jax First Aid are a small family owned medical and safety supplies company.

We supply products such as first aid kits, bandages, workwear, PPE, survival equipment and much more to thousands of customers nationwide through our ecommerce website.


What's in it for you:


Jax First Aid are currently experiencing company growth and are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their team.

You will be reporting to the lead Digital Marketing team member and will gain experience of supporting online presence and supporting the website.


You will be responsible for:


  • Monitoring online social media channels
  • Maintaining company profiles on social media e.g. Facebook, Instagram
  • Updating the company website and all company marketing materials
  • Responding to customer enquires both online and offline
  • Writing case studies, testimonials, and newsletters
  • Driving traffic to the company website utilizing SEO
  • Keyword/campaign analysis
  • Campaign maintenance
  • Wider website research/analysis
  • Audience creation
  • Reporting

You will need the following skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of social media platforms
  • Creating web content
  • Passion for digital and social media
  • Adaptable learner, enthusiastic focused and able to work in a team
  • Ability to speak to customers and team members
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Selfmotivated

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.


Working week:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm


Future prospects:

The opportunity to gain a full-time role upon completion of the apprenticeship.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.


To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
