Management Accountant

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, our client is an established and recognisable company looking for a part qualified at finalist level / newly qualified accountant to join their team as Management Accountant a permanent basis.

This job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or newly qualified accountant with preferably industry/multisite operator experience.

The successful individual will be adept at problem-solving and critical thinking. They will be task focused, with the ability to work to deadlines and can prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to build relationshipswith colleagues is essential to work together within a fantastic finance team.

Duties will include:

Produce Monthly Management accounts
Assist with preparation of budget & forecast schedules
Prepayments and Accruals, P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations
Financial understanding through variance analysis
Challenge the process make recommendations to streamline the current procedures
Supporting the annual and interim external audit process
Monitoring compliance with policies and practices to maintain strong financial control
