    Future Build Recruitment - Senior Estimator/ QS - Facades

    Job Title: Senior Estimator/ QS

    Location: East London

    Salary: £70,000 plus package

    Future Build Recruitment are currently working with a Facades & Cladding contractor who are looking for a Senior Estimator to join there team in East London.

    Key Responsibilites:

    • Cost Estimation: Utilise expertise in facade & Cladding construction to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
    • Bid Analysis: Evaluate bid documents, specifications, and drawings to develop a thorough understanding of project requirements and scope.
    • Quantity Takeoffs: Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs of materials and labor required for facade & Cladding installation, ensuring all project components are accounted for.
    • Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimise project costs without compromising quality or performance.
    • Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and maintain profitability.
    • Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive proposals, including breakdowns of costs and timelines, to present to clients and stakeholders.
    • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to address inquiries, clarify requirements, and negotiate terms.
    • Project Handover: Facilitate a smooth handover of projects to the execution team, ensuring all relevant information and documentation are provided.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade construction estimation, with a proven track record of successfully estimating and managing projects.
    • Deep knowledge of facade & Cladding systems, materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
    • Proficiency in estimating softwares.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
