SUPPLY PLANNING & INVENTORY MANAGER OPPORTUNITY IN HERTFORDSHIRE
Are you a hands-on, highly transactional and practical decision maker with operational supply chain planning and procurement experience?

Are you looking for your next role as part of a team where you will manage and control the supply planning process, ensuring that key parameters and metrics are being met and that the supply plans are in line with the company sales plan?

My client is a recognised brand with a strong and well respected reputation for supplying high quality products to the construction/building industry.

The role is paying up to £50k per annum depending on your level of experience, and includes the following responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for Supply Planning, Inventory and Supplier Management
Manage and control the Supply Planning process, ensuring that key parameters and metrics are being met and that the supply plans are in line with the company sales plan
Manage Inventory to Target and achieved >95% On Time in Full-Service Level
Manage stock control and annual stock taking process
Manage the negotiation and administration processes of stock procurement including supplier selection, alternative suppliers, payment terms and contract.
Review, develop and implement procurement policies and procedures that are cost effective and meet business needs
Ensure that supply and service agreements are in place with suppliers, and service delivery and quality is measured to check agreed supplier performance and standards are achieved
Place purchase orders/calloff orders for all required materials/services in accordance with the Company's requirements and specifications
Maintain an accurate Supplier Database and compliance requirements
Support the Operations Director with ensuring that robust ERP/MRP systems are in place to facilitate the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement operation
Develop, motivate and line manage direct reports to improve department efficiency and effectiveness
