Description

Job Title:
Graphic Designer

Salary:
£25,000 pro rata

Job type:
Part-time flexible hours to full time

Location:
Mendip Activity Centre.

Rare opportunity for an experienced graphic designer with an interest in the great outdoors to join our team. Flexible hours that work around you. Part time or full time depending on skillset.

We're looking for a friendly, talented, organised and efficient designer to join our small marketing team.

Someone willing to take the time to understand our unique business, brand, voice and audiences and ensure consistency and quality across all our visual communications.

We're looking for someone who can interpret and challenge a design brief.

Someone who can read between the lines and understand the real business needs behind every request and distil the key messages into an engaging creative solution.

We need someone flexible with creative, technical and people skills.

Someone who can join the dots, speak to the right people and do whatever it takes to see a project through to completion.

This won't be your typical graphic design role where you are tied to a desk.

We have a 250 acre site and several satellite sites - you'll need to be happy getting out and about looking at projects, discussing the requirements, measuring up, evaluating the need, finding the perfect creative solution, arranging the print or production and ensuring the finished products gets used or implemented as planned.

No two days will ever be the same. You'll be involved in a diverse range of both digital web-based projects and traditional print media.

We're not a big team and do not have copywriters, photographers and editors on hand so you'll need to be adept at creatively 'filling in the gaps'.

You'll need the confidence to edit out the filler and the experience to create or source all the content you need to turn your ideas into reality.

Have you had enough of freelancing or juggling multiple clients? This could be an amazing opportunity to make a real difference working for an ambitious, family-owned outdoor company that values purpose before profit.

You would be an important and valued part of our team, trusted with our brand and image.
