THE COMPANY:


Harnham is in partnership with a global home improvement retailer as they look to expand its eCommerce platform to service its eight brands.

The company is looking to integrate data generated from its multiple channels into a single customer platform toimprove commercial operations.

They are looking for an Analytics Manager with strong industry experience in a mature marketplace/ eCommerce company.

You will be responsible for leading a small team, and have ownership of the Analytics/ BI strategy while deliveringactionable insight to key stakeholders.


THE ROLE:

As the Analytics Manager, you will play a core play in piloting an analytics strategy within the Digital team.

You will require an understanding of key KPIs within an eCommerce environment, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of BI tools.


You will:

  • Gather commercial requirements from stakeholders across the business
  • Implement best data practices and improve existing dashboards
  • Improve existing data models hosted in Power BI
  • Aggregate data using SQL from the Azure platform
  • Develop data models to report on key metrics and KPIs
  • Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards to report on new metrics for the marketplace
  • Frequently engage with senior stakeholders, Csuite, and the Digital team
  • Support the learning and development of 2 junior analysts

REQUIREMENTS:


As you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders and have ownership of a significant reporting function, you will need to be a seasoned Data professional with experience working autonomously.


As well as this, you will require:

  • SQL (essential)
  • Any visualisation (they use Google Data Studio and Power BI)
  • Azure (any cloud accepted)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working at a marketplace, eCommerce, or retail company (nonnegotiable)
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience or the desire to mentor junior Data professionals.
