As our Customer Support Assistant you will be working directly with external customers building relationships to ensure they receive the best service possible.

You will have a keen eye for detail and able to work as part of a busy support team. Showing your initiative is always welcomed in our team. We work to tight deadlines, but also have strict SLAs with our customers.

Following training you will be responsible for the quality of information taken from customers and ensuring tickets have been logged into our Customer Management system.

We expect you to be self-motived, well presented and well organised. It would be useful if you have some IT skills with Microsoft Office Products but also Microsoft Windows.


Duties will include:


  • Demonstrate excellent customer service focus when dealing with clients
  • Recognising the importance of SLAs and when specific case require escalation
  • Working as part of a team, understanding the pressures of what is important
  • Configuring new PCs as per client requirements


We are looking for you to also bring your own dynamic to the role so in time you will be the first point of contact.

Entry requirements

GCSE Level Maths & English, 4-9 or equivalent but not essential

Training to be provided

Information Communication Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
Qualification together with on site training by the employer.

For those starting at Advanced (Level 3), the expected duration would be eighteen months.

There is an opportunity to progress on to the Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) and ultimately on to a Degree Apprenticeship.
