Overview:


Our client is looking for an office / HR administrator to provide pro-active support to the organisation through the delivery of an effective and professional HR administration service.

No experience within HR is required, although a desire to work in HR is.

- £23,000 - £26,000

Job specification:


  • Being the central point of contact for the HR team
  • Providing administration support throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Ensuring effective record keeping and the management of data
  • Maintain effective communication both within the team and across the organisation including all employees and senior management team, volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of policy and procedure relevant to the role.
  • Process all administration in respect of starters, contract changes and leavers on the HR database.
  • Liaise with payroll over all authorised changes in accordance with agreed processes and deadlines.
  • Monitor completion of probationary process and the performance review cycle.
  • Respond to requests for references.
  • Take minutes at key meetings.
  • Support with General Recruitment.

Person specification:


  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of delivering a highquality administration service to clients/ customers
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to work with autonomy and under pressure
