    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join ourGlobal Manufacturing Excellence Organization within ourManufacturing Technical Support Division team. The ManufacturingTechnical Support Division is a multidisciplinary organization withinterface to technical and in some cases business supportrequirements for our Global Manufacturing Admin Area. Its functioncaters mainly to the technical needs of GM Operating facilities.Your primary role will be to handle process safety engineeringaspects. This will include ensuring safety management complianceand improving safety of multiple operating facilities from GlobalManufacturing Admin Area. You will also be responsible forproviding technical support on high priority process safetyengineering and management issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations inall operating facilities.
    • Developing andmaintaining safety policies documents and procedures.
    • Collaborating with refinery teams to identifyopportunities for Process Hazard Analysis and providingrecommendations for safer operations.
    • Analyzing and monitoring the use of refinery Managementof Change (MOC) on a daily basis and conducting MOCaudits.
    • Monitoring Process Safety EventReporting and Evaluation within the refinery.
    • Conducting onsite observations and field inspections togather data for process safety analyses.
    • Conducting internal benchmarking studies among oil andgas refineries.
    • Organizing technical exchangeworkshops among oil and gas refineries.
    • Developing and delivering training materials to enhanceprocess safety awareness among refinery personnel.

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
    • Holding a Bachelorsdegree in Chemical Engineering.
    • Having aminimum of 15 years of experience in refining oil and gas plants orpetrochemical industries.
    • Demonstratingproficiency in industry codes and standards such as API BS ISO ASMEANSI IEC ISA IEEE etc.
    • Possessing stronganalytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of processsafety engineering.
    • Having a working knowledgeof oil and gasrelated plant processes.
    • Beingfamiliar with the development of process safety roadmaps andsetting safety key performance indicators.
    • Having substantial experience in data collection andanalytics to improve safety concerns and provide advice forenhanced safety performance.
    • Having strongmanagement and coordination skills.
