This is an exciting new opportunity for a Data Scientist to work for a well-known retailer


THE COMPANY


This well-known retailer have a strong Analytics & Data Science of 15 and they're continuing to invest in their Data presence.

They are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join and help them using Data Science for all things customer related.

Theyhave a great team culture and offer great flexibility in terms of remote working.


THE ROLE
As a Data Scientist for the business you will:

  • Analyse customer data to understand what causes customers to churn and aim to reduce this
  • Using time series forecasting techniques and demand forecasting techniques to understahdn customer demand
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the business to understand their business needs, turn them into technical requirements for the team and ensure projects are completed accurately

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in a numerical or relevant field is preferred
  • Experience working in retail or B2C would be preferred
  • Proven commercial experience working as a Data Scientist
  • An excellent understanding of and experience with machine learning techniques
  • Tech: Python/R, SQL

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Basic salary £50,000 £60,000
  • Bonus
