    As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for an experienced InfluxDB Database Administrator/Engineer to join our tech team. If you are skilled in data management, optimization, and passionate about data transformation and processing, welcome aboard.     The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analysing database issues and monitoring database performance.

    Responsibilities:

    Design, deploy, and manage high-performance InfluxDB database instances, ensuring data security, integrity, and high availability.

    Optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing adjustments, and resource allocation to meet real-time data processing requirements.

    Manage database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data persistence and disaster recovery capabilities.

    Develop and maintain data transformation logic to ensure efficient and accurate data flows from external sources to InfluxDB.

    Collaborate with the development team to integrate InfluxDB solutions into our products and services, providing technical support and consultation.

    Monitor database performance, responding in real-time to and resolving database-related technical issues.

    Understand data requirements, provide technical support for data analysis and machine learning projects, optimising data aggregation, cleaning, and transformation strategies.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

    At least 3 years of experience working with InfluxDB or other time-series databases.

    Familiarity with InfluxDB architecture, API, and query languages (Flux/InfluxQL).

    Experience with tools like Telegraf and Grafana is preferred.

    Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go.

    Professional skills in data processing and transformation, familiar with ETL processes and tools.

    Good team spirit and communication skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
