You will learn all of the tasks an accountant completes, including but not limited to the following.
You will provide full training on how to complete the below and will never be left unknown what to do, there will always be support:
- Prepare and analyse financial documents, including bank statements, invoices and receipts.
- Complete bookeeping tasks on various accounting softwares (all training and certificates provided)
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Complete payroll & admin tasks on a regular basis in line with an accounting practice's processes
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft
- Assist in the preparation of accounts, VAT returns, tax returns and compliance with tax regulations
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
