Description

We're looking for a Project Manager who is keen to engage with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to help ensure we achieve our vision of a Wilder Derbyshire.

In this role, you'll lead the coordination, delivery and successful completion of a variety of transformational projects. You'll work in an agile way across multiple workstreams, helping to secure nature's recovery in Derbyshire.


To be successful you will need to be organised and reliable with excellent communication skills and have a passion for nature's recovery.


Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll own the Project Management of a variety of our projects


To do this you'll:
-
Lead on the delivery of a variety of funded projects:

  • it will be your job to implement effective project management, track and report progress, identify and mitigate risk as well as unlock potential.
You will support the development ofan effective organisational project management framework

Keep the budget on track - it will be your job to effectively manage the project budgets, including carefully monitoring and regularly reporting and forecasting both expenditure and income.

Improve our Impact:

- you will report on progress regularly to funders, partners, our senior team and board as well as the public.
You will ensure that we use media opportunities and social media to share our work and communicate our impact.

Build Partnerships - you will help to drive the development of existing partnerships and develop new ones, always ensuring we embed the views of stakeholders and that we communicate proactively with the public and landowners (public, privateand third sector).

This role might be right for you if:

  • You are an experienced project manager with knowledge of a variety of project management and budget management systems
  • You have experience of managing large grants and contracts
  • You feel comfortable talking to a diverse range of stakeholders with different interests, perspectives and personalities
  • You're selfaware, reflective and endlessly curious you're always looking for opportunities to do things better
  • You love technology and are excited about the opportunity to create something new and unexpected
  • You're comfortable and adept at navigating change.

This role will be based at our office in Middleton although a balance of home and office working will be allowed.

We are a local charity so applicants should be easily able to access our office and other locations around the county.
