Description
Our client is a dynamic start-up, who are building scalable and sustainable production methods for animal-free, cultivated fats.

Their goal is to create a more ethical way of producing fats, to help replace the meat on your plate, while still providing thesame taste and texture of animal meats.


They are looking to bring on a Technical Expert specialising in Cell Line Development to join their collaborative and innovative R&D team in London.

You will play a central role in deriving, engineering, and validating new adipogenic cell lines, with a focuson developing and implementing an automated workflow.

You will work intimately with a team of bioprocess engineers and computational biologists to provide the foundation for all R&D and manufacturing.


  • Have A PhD in mammalian stem cell biology, synthetic biology, tissue engineering.
  • 2+ years' experience in mammalian cell line development and CRISPR genome engineering in commercial setting or research facility
  • Be a curious, driven individual who places a key emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
  • Desirably have experience with automated liquid handling, qPCR and RNAseq data analysis
