    Channel Business Development Manager

    We are looking for a Channel Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team in this national role.

    In this position your focus will be on building sales via our existing organic channel partners, with the ultimate aim of ensuring future progression through successful sales growth of the full Diversey UK portfolio (ranging from chemicals, dosing and dispensing equipment to cleaning machinery).


    On a daily basis you will work closely with our existing distributors, developing growth plans and building up our partners for success.

    This might mean training distributors on our product offerings, or identifying end-users for them to sell to.

    You will be expected to develop a strong relationship with the distributors you'll work with, so we are looking for someone with a proven track record of developing and nurturing relationships within a B2B market.

    Since identifying new opportunities will be a part of the role too, you will need to also demonstrate expertise in securing new business.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Generate leads on NKA and Strategic Accounts through own channels, contacts, trade fairs, meetings etc.

    Target and win qualified opportunities with new national customers – the focus will lie with building sales via our organic channel partners

    Inside Hunter to support with lead generation activities

    Use and track opportunities via Salesforce

    Create new business funnel for defined key customers/segments and maintain in Salesforce

    Coordinate acquisition activities with Business Development Director, sector leader and Inside Hunter and preparation of offers either solely or with admin/support staff

    Establish a customer relationship and maintain contact with decision-makers and employees

    Ensure elaboration and implementation of measures in their sector to ease sales

    Ensure utilisation of remote sales tools and encourage service teams to utilize remote service tool to ensure efficient service

    Build and maintain contact with key opinion leaders and convince them of Diversey offering


    The Ideal Candidate will have:
    Proven experience in distributor field sales.

    Previous experience in Business Development, B2B and Large Corporate Accounts.

    Basic digital skills. Knowledge of MS packages including Word and Excel.

    Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

    Communication and listening skills. Strong influencing abilities.

    Valid driving license.

    Ability to adapt, and persistence.

    Strong relationship-building skills.

    A high level of confidence with the ambition to succeed.

    A professional, presentable, and credible attitude.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
