    Innovate Design is a Salisbury-based design studio that helps inventors and start-ups to commercialise their product ideas.

    We have an in-house team of 5 researchers, 5 innovations coaches and 20 designers, including specialists in industrial design, fashion design, engineering, electronics, apps and graphics.

    This fast-paced and dynamic team enables us to take on a wide variety of projects, including helping BBC's apprentice candidates design their kid's smart toothbrush and app prototypes in just 15 hours.

    Our process is well respected in the industry, and we recently taught our product design process to Warwick University's Innovation & Entrepreneurship masters degree students.

    We are a friendly, welcoming team working in a studio where there is always something interesting to learn and never a dull moment.

    The Role Up to 2 days per week, ideal for parents and those working on personal projects working on-site in our Salisbury StudioCreation of apps for Android, iOS and web including some for connected devices.

    Working alongside electronics engineers, UX/UI designers, app back-end developers, and industrial designers to develop innovative new products and services for start-ups and SMEsNeed to be able to learn quickly unsupervised and have a structured approach to problem-solving£25,000 pro rata Coding in the following programming languages -HTML for user-friendly web interfacesCSSJavascript and jQueryWordPress for Administration, Plugin and Gutenberg Block DevelopmentWoo-commerceSwift and Java (optional) What we're looking for Minimum 2 years in commercial environmentsUnderstanding of responsive design principlesUnderstanding of the entire web development life cycle including design, development and deploymentBrowser testing and debuggingGraphic design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator, XD, FigmaDegree or similar learning level in a software-related field
