    As our Architect Manager , you'll support HID's success by:

    1. Solution design & management

    • Leads and owns the architecture team that is developing highly complex identity solutions for customer projects as well as company products, this involves translating business and technical requirements for software solutions into deliverable designs taking into consideration security, performance, scalability, usability and cost.
    • Producing, maintaining, and taking ownership of all architecture deliverables required within software development projects following an established agile development methodology.
    • Creating process flows, architecture diagrams, prototypes, and other assets to remove ambiguity and articulate design to a varied audience.

    2. Architecture management

    • Manage & mentor software solutions architects.
    • Help develop and support other architects by providing guidance, overview and reviewing of work.
    • Help identify & support them through development opportunities.
    • Provide general day to day managerial assistance.

    3. Software engineering department improvements

    • Help identify, develop, and implement processes, procedures, and ways of working for the software engineering department.
    • Collaborate with the other software engineering leads to create and champion best practices for the software engineering department.

    4. Citizen Identity Solutions

    • Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all departments across Citizen Identity Solutions.
    • Collaborate with other team members across the Citizen Identity organization to deliver projects and achieve company objectives, serve as a subject matter expert on Citizen Identity.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
    • 10 years' experience with at least 5 years in design and implementation of enterprise or mission-critical systems.
    • At least 3 years' experience of working in a management role of an agile software delivery environment.
    • Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the Scrum development process (Product backlog development and management experience is essential). SAFe experience and practical experience will be beneficial.
    • Experience of designing systems for cloud deployments with a focus on cost efficiency and scalability.
    • Experience in secure system development lifecycle and system integration is highly preferred.
    • Experience in secured issuance of electronic documents such as national ID, driving license and passport is highly preferred.
    • Experience in information security using electronic documents, cryptography and PKI is highly preferred.
    • Experience in DevOps Cloud Operations.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
