    Job Description

    • Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Manchester area in the UK.
    • The role will involve the installation, training, maintenance, and repair of their analyzer product groups at customer laboratories.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install analyzer product groups at customer laboratories.
    • Provide training to customers on analyzer operation and maintenance.
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance visits.
    • Respond to emergency call-outs and perform repairs as needed.
    • Diagnose and resolve faults.
    • Provide detailed written reports on all activities.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science in chemistry or similar qualification.
    • Experience in a similar field-based role is desirable, but laboratory scientists interested in transitioning to a field-based role will also be considered.
    • Excellent customer-facing skills.
    • Willingness to travel across the UK with regular overnight stays.
    • Willingness to attend initial training courses abroad.
    • Valid driving license is essential.
