SME Account Handler

Location:
Ebbw Vale / Abergavenny


Salary:
£26,000-£28,000+ Benefits and bonus


The Company:


We are working with a reputable and successful insurance brokerage in the Abergavenny area who are looking to bring on motivated and ambitious Commercial Insurance professional.

This business has done extremely well even during pandemic times are showing consistent and forecasted growth.

This is an exciting time to join the business in an important role which could lead to a more senior.


The Role:

You will be working with commercial sector clients across various industries and with different insurance requirements. These clients will be SME level and you will handle the clients from start to finish yourself.


This is a relationship focused role whereby you will own the relationship, handling initial enquiry, through to open market (dealing with underwriters) or E-Trade broking and placement of disk.

There will be renewals and existing policy requirements as well.


This is a growing team and you would be coming in at its infancy so there is potential for career development and a really exciting plans for company growth which you can be apart of.


The Required Skills:

Insurance experience is essential ideally with commercial product knowledge

You will need to be a confident communicator with people at all levels and background

Good negotiation and time management skills

Cert CII is preferable but not essential
