Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years PQE in a leading patent litigation team in private practice.
Experience in handling both contentious and noncontentious patent matters, preferably in the technology and life sciences sectors.
Strong academic background or prior experience in the life sciences or technology sectors.
Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective patent advice to clients, considering various commercial objectives.
Track record of taking ownership of matters, showcasing technical expertise and excellent client service.
Interest in business development and a proactive approach to securing new clients and maintaining existing relationships.
Aptitude for financial management on matters with a commercial mindset.
Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Advise on both contentious and noncontentious patent matters primarily in the technology and life sciences sectors.
Provide efficient and commercial patent advice to clients, considering litigation, mediation, and arbitration options.
Actively participate in building and enhancing the patent capabilities of the existing team.
Engage in business development activities, including securing new clients and maintaining relationships within the IP community.
Contribute to the wider patent community in the London market.
Manage all aspects of financial management on matters with a focus on business growth and client satisfaction.
