Description

Responsibilities:


Regulatory Compliance:

Stay abreast of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations and industry developments to ensure clients remain compliant.
Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements impacting financial institutions, including banks and other financial service providers.


Risk Assessment:

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' regulatory risk exposure and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Advise on the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.


Policy and Procedure Development:

Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to align with FCA regulations and industry best practices.
Assist clients in implementing and communicating changes to policies and procedures.


Regulatory Reporting:

Oversee and ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting in accordance with FCA requirements.
Work with clients to prepare for regulatory audits and examinations.


Client Advisory:

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on regulatory changes and their potential impact on business operations.
Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for navigating complex regulatory landscapes.


Training and Education:

Conduct training sessions for client teams to enhance their understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
Keep clients informed about changes in regulatory standards and their implications.


Regulatory Impact Assessment:

Assess the impact of new regulations on client operations and recommend adjustments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement changes in response to regulatory updates.


Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business models and regulatory challenges.
Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding regulatory matters.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with legal, risk management, and other relevant departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to regulatory compliance.
Work closely with clients to coordinate regulatory initiatives and responses.


Qualifications:


Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in regulatory compliance is a plus.


Experience:

Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services sector, with a focus on FCA regulations.
Familiarity with banking operations and financial products.


Regulatory Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of FCA regulations, guidelines, and policies affecting financial institutions.
Knowledge of broader financial industry regulations is advantageous.


Analytical Skills:

Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.


Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts to various stakeholders.


Project Management:

Experience in managing regulatory compliance projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Collaboration and Teamwork:

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders towards regulatory compliance goals.


Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes and industry changes.
Proactive approach to staying informed about regulatory developments.


Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£2,000.00-£2,250.00 per month


Experience:

Regulatory Affairs: 2 years (preferred)
