Job summary:
The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 9,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations.

This post will be within the Army TLB, working in the Directorate of Information (D Info).This is an exciting opportunity to join the business management function and support the operation of the Information Design Authority (Info DA).
We are looking for a motivated individual to join the business management function within the Info DA.

Job description:
As a member of the Info DA Business Management function, you will be a key contributor to providing administrative, financial and contractual support across all Info DA functions.
The successful incumbent will be integral to supporting the Info DA operating model bringing together multiple digital functions to work in a coherent manner enabling the assurance, enablement and governance of a Digital Army.
The position holder is key in supporting the operation and business management of the Info DA and the Chief Information Architect.
Higher level responsibilities include supporting the Info DA financial management, management of contracts, Contracting, Purchasing and Finance (CP&F), Info DA, SharePoint and the Microsoft Teams Planner.
Person specification:
We are looking for a driven individual who has the ability, desire and potential to learn and develop into a digital business administrator.
We are a large team which is continuing to grow, the ability to be well versed in communicating and working with others is essential, this will be internally within the Info DA and externally across the organisation to support the mission and intent of the Info DA.
Specific responsibilities include;- Provide general administrative and financial/contract support across all Info DA functions
- Management of finance and contracts, including invoicing on CF&P and recording invoices on a monthly basis.
- Support to new joiners, including passes, accounts, IT, new joiner inductions and ensuring they complete mandatory training
- Executing the business unit Information Management Plan.
- Maintenance and development of all Info DA SharePoint sites and ensure data held is kept in line with Army data policies.
- Developing and managing support services to improve electronic ways of working
