People Advisor - United Kingdom - Techspert

Description

As a People Advisor at Techspert in the People Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting ourglobally basedemployees in fostering a positive, productive work environment. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support on various people-related matters to ensure our team members feel valued and supported.

Some of the key areas are:

• You'll take ownership of People Operations across the entire employee lifecycle, using your expertise to be the go-to person for questions and issues
  
• Lead People contact for our global team including US, Chile and Brazil
• Collaborating with our payroll team to ensure timely execution of our global pay-cycles
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts, partnering with senior colleagues
• Lead on entire recruitmentprocess by participating in screening, collaborating with agencies and onboarding activities
• Manage our HRIS (we useBambooHR)
• Arrange training sessions on topics such as diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employee well-being
• Work closely with Global People Director to implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention
• Provide advice and assistance to employees on HR policies and procedures, whilst maintaining a people first approach
• Hybrid scheduled with at least once a week in our Cambridge offices.

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in HR or people-related roles
• HRIS experience (don't worry if you don't have BambooHR experience, you'll be trained)
• Demonstratable knowledgeof HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Ideally to have had experience in a scaling organisation
