    Description

    ContactCORP is looking for a electrician to join our client, a respected social housing and home care providers based in Chippenham, Swindon.

    This position requires proven experience in electrical engineering, home care and relevant industry knowledge.


    Undertaking a range of planned, void or maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard, in line with the role skills framework.


    • Retrofit LD- LD2 - LD3 alarm smoke/CO/heat systems in domestic properties
    • To complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation.
    • To participate in an out of hours emergency rota and attend call-outs as required.
    • Minimum of level 3 NVQ in electrical installation
    • Full UK driving license and own transport


    Ability to undertake a range of planned and responsive maintenance works, repairing, replacing and maintaining properties to a high standard.


    • Undertake full EICR inspections and retrofit LD- LD3 alarm systems in domestic properties
    • Technical skills to carry out work on electrical systems, with experience of domestic refurbishment and maintenance repairs.
    • Able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.
    • Ability to effectively use hand-held electronic devices and to work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, platforms and pickers.
    • Awareness and ability to apply Equality & Diversity policy.
    • Monday - Friday, Full-time
