Description

We wish to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in EYFS with an EHCP. The post, initially, is temporary until 31 August 2023. The needs of the school are constantly changing and opportunities arising.

There may be scope for additional hours - potentially a 30 hour contract - which can also be discussed at interview.

1:1 Teaching Assistant
20 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am - 1pm
39 weeks, temporary to 31 August 2023

Salary:
Grade 3 Point 6 £10,906 (FTE salary £20,812)

We are looking for someone
 who is caring, enthusiastic and creative
 who is a good team player and able to work well as part of a supportive staff
 who has an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children
 who understands how to support children with specific needs
 who has an interest in Early Years Development
 who can support a child's learning, behaviour, social inclusion as well as their social and emotional development

 have good Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent)
 have an ability to use their own initiative
 be passionate about improving outcomes and supporting children to overcome barriers to learning and fulfil their potential
