Junior Production Manager - Broadcast

Permanent/Full time

Hybrid working

Our amazing Broadcast client is looking for a senior co-ordinator/junior production manager looking to take their next step.

This role sits within the broadcaster's creative team and oversees the day-to-day short-form production as well as other creative projects.


What the role involves:


  • Oversee and manage the daytoday creative production and delivery for the internal creative team, as directed (e.g. promos, showreels, shoots)
  • Support Producers in the management of creative campaigns
  • Act as the key point of contact and escalation for daytoday creative production
  • Supervise the production coordinators in the management of creative projects
  • Coordinate or manage shoots (scale dependent); negotiate and manage suppliers, plan and arrange resources, produce production paperwork and adhere to Health & Safety procedures
  • Cost, manage and maintain production budgets, raise POs and reconcile costs
  • Maintain production trackers, and follow production workflows

What you need for the role:

  • Experience working as a senior production co-ordinator or above within a broadcast production environment.
  • Experience in short form/promo production and experience in organising shoots
  • Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects and materials to deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast production and creative workflows, and experience in delivering materials in multiple formats
  • Experience in costing, managing and maintaining budgets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working as part of a team, supervising, supporting and developing others
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise work effectively and multitask
  • Skilled in a range of software packages, with an aptitude to learn new software
