An established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Loughton, Essex is looking for Labourers with experience of working on a new build site, to be based on site in Cambridge.


About the job:
A development of 146 apartments/houses located in Cambridge. The development will include the installation of all associated utilities including plumbing and heating systems.


Link365 projects are mainly within the residential market and undertaking both new-build and refurbishments encompassing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services, air conditioning, ventilation, hot and cold-water services, drainage, sprinklers and gas supplies disciplines.

Project sizes are between 100 and 600 units.


Labourer Main Duties:

v Collaborate closely with skilled tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians, to facilitate the installation of M&E systems.


v Assist in the setup and assembly of mechanical and electrical components, following detailed instructions and blueprints provided by supervisors.


v Adhere strictly to Link365's safety protocols and procedures, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure a secure working environment.


v Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the construction site, including the proper disposal of waste materials and regular clean-up of work areas.

v Own tools and transportation are essential.


Labourer Skills/Experience/Certification:

v 2 Years Experience on site

v Qualifications - CSCS card


Job Type:
Full-time, fixed term contract 24 months, with many new opportunities for future work


Schedule:

v Day shift.

v Monday to Friday.


Work Location:
In person, Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Pay may vary based on experience


Expected start date:
03/04/2024

Salary:
£13.00-£17.00 per hour


Schedule:
