Workshop Manager - United Kingdom - Engenda Group

Description

Engenda Group are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our specialist plastic manufacturing team in Hipperholme, West Yorkshire.

The team is a specialist manufacturer of Process Plant, Tanks, Vessels and Scrubber equipment in Glass Reinforced Plastics (GRP) and Thermoplastic.

With historic expertise in working with GRP since the early 1960s, the high integrity fabrications will withstand the harshest of environments and can be built to the quality requirements of BS CAT I, II and III/ BS EN 9007:2000, BS 13121 and numerous other customer specified design codes.

You will be working with a vastly experienced team that delivers high quality specialist products to a wide range of industries.

You do not require previous experience of GRP or Thermoplastics, but do need to have demonstrable experience of specialist low volume, high value bespoke manufacturing delivery.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, you will:
Have full commercial responsibility for the manufacturing unit
Manage and motivate a team of engineers to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Provide technical support and training to engineers, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to meet our customers' needs.

Ensure that all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practice.
Monitor performance of the team and provide regular feedback and support to help them improve.
