Role in our Family:


As a Regional People Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the People strategy for our varied hotel portfolio.

You will work closely with Regional General Managers, Hotel Managers, and onsite teams to enhance the Splendid Family Member and Guest experience while driving commercial success.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact for ER advice, ensuring timely escalation if needed.
  • Handle and support ER cases, disciplinary and grievance meetings, and flexible working requests.
  • Interpret and communicate Splendid Policies and Procedures to hotel managers.
  • Mediate, coach, and provide support with performancerelated issues.
  • Support the opening process of new properties and contribute to priority project work.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including approving contracts, raising adverts, and resolving recruitment issues.
  • Drive L&D interventions, including apprenticeships, internal moves, career conversations, and succession planning.
  • Ensure bestinclass onboarding for new hires and support hotels with pay queries.
  • Prepare meeting scripts, administrative tasks, and escalate complex issues to Head of People
  • Hotels.
  • Use HR data and metrics to drive valueadding activities and initiatives.
  • Support hotels with CSR initiatives to benefit both the hotel and the local community.

Person Specifications:

  • Essential:
  • Minimum 5 years' HR experience in a People Team function, preferably in the Hospitality sector.
  • Experience in New Hotel Openings.
  • CIPD Level 3 (Minimum).
  • Preferably experienced in working in hotel operations.
  • Good understanding of employment law.
  • Balanced & Fair approach.
  • Excellent relationship builder.
  • Able to adapt quickly and react to moving priorities.
  • Can work well under pressure and prioritize workload.
  • Able to identify strengths and weaknesses and change approach accordingly.
  • Willing to be flexible and get involved when times are tough.
  • Able to work independently and is selfsufficient but can confidently reach out when support is required.
  • Confident and able to manage varying personality traits.
  • Must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
