Description

You will join an innovative and collegiate team and play a key role in growing the London employment team's presence in the market.


This growing team is currently interested in speaking with talented and motivated senior associates with a strong interest in business development.

The role

You will join the employment team within a growing London office of a top-100 national law firm.


The team advises its client base (which comprises both employers and senior executives) on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters.

This includes, but is not limited to; general advisory matters, TUPE, redundancy process, employmenttribunal and High Court litigations and senior executives' exits.


Clients range from fast-growth start-ups to global PLC's and are spread across a range of sectors such as pharmaceuticals, retail and technology.

The employment team also works closely with lawyers in the corporate, insolvency, IP and and immigration.


As a senior associate, you can expect to manage your own high-quality caseload whilst also being available to assist with the training and development of junior team members.

You can also expect to get involved with business development activities, such as presenting at seminars and conferences.

About you


The successful individual will likely have a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience, gained within a reputable city, regional or boutique practice.

You will have exposure to the full spectrum of employment law and will have acted for employer clients. Experience acting on behalf of senior executives is desirable but not essential.


You will be a confident communicator, comfortable with building and maintaining client relationships; likewise, you will have a strong interest in engaging in business development activities.


You must be able to work mostly independently and be able to manage your own caseload and assist with the development and training of junior staff members.
