As the Head of Economics and Business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic direction of the school's Economics and Business department.
Design and deliver high-quality courses in Economics and Business at various levels, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
Lead curriculum development initiatives to incorporate emerging trends and best practices in business and economics education.As the Head of Economics and Business, you must be able to mentor and support faculty members in their professional growth and development as educators.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic success.Conduct research and scholarly activities in the fields of economics and business, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the discipline.
Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to enhance students' understanding of real-world business practices and economic principles.Provide leadership and guidance in departmental planning, budgeting, and assessment processes.
Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in Economics, Business, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles and pedagogical best practices in economics and business education.
A Head of Economics and Business with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and external partners.
A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.Experience in academic leadership.
