    Responsible for leading a team of business systems analysts who partner all areas of the business and IT to help implement fully integrated solutions as Starr's enterprise architecture evolves to support business growth.

    Be able to capture business requirements and look at systems holistically to assess interfaces between applications, databases and middleware systems.

    Lead a team of Business Systems Analysts, covering:
    Author / define team's analysis standards, procedures and best practices.
    Peer review of analysis outputs ensuring they can move on to next stage in SDLC.
    Mentor team members, fostering professional growth, and encouraging best practices.
    Take a leading role in estimating, prioritising, planning and coordinating of analysis activities
    Support the Head of Enterprise Application Architecture as the acting Scrum Master, covering:
    Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, i.e., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review and retrospective.
    Creating and maintain project timelines, monitoring progress against project goals.
    Form strong business partnerships with the Business, and Business Excellence to understand the business process / business requirements.
    Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing project documentation, managing scope, adjusting schedules when necessary, and following agreed escalation paths:
    Elicit, impact assess, analyse and translate business requirements into system requirements.

    Support BAU processes in relation to Starr's applications covering system configuration changes, monitoring integrations, and training on system functionality.

    Liaise with Business Users, Application Developers, Software QAs to ensure system requirements are understood from all sides.

    Partner Head of Application Architecture and Senior Solution Architect to conduct assessments on new systems to ensure technology meets Enterprise Architecture requirements.

    Support the Head of Enterprise Application Architecture in developing and maintaining an asset register of all applications, including documentation of BAU IT processes supporting the applications.

    Experience in Business Systems Analysis in the Specialty Insurance Industry.
    Line management experience.
    Project Management experience.
    Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
    Process analysis, data mapping and data analytical skills using SQL and Excel.
    Innovative mind-set with rigorous standards of quality.
    Problem analysis – identify root cause of issues and what impact this has on the systems / data.
    Comfortable with investigating application configuration and how that maps to business processes.
