    Master Technician

    Location:
    Chipping Warden

    Shift Pattern:
    Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week

    Salary:
    £44,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)

    Employment Type:
    Temp to Perm, Permanent for the right candidate

    Igloo is looking for Master Technicians to join our client's team in Chipping Warden This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join one of the UK's leading automotive companies, which has operations across the country.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in resolving technical issues and monitor workflow.
    • Ensure completion of workshop documentation and compliance with procedures.
    • Conduct vehicle inspections for defects.
    • Maintain flexibility to cover shifts during holidays.
    • Manage housekeeping and paperwork in the work area.
    • Interpret technical service information from manuals and computer files.
    • Keep company equipment clean and report shortages or damage.
    • Support colleagues to meet daily targets.
    • Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain workshop cleanliness.
    • Fulfil any other required duties.
    What kind of person are we looking for?

    • City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies or Higher BTEC or equivalent – essential
    • Manufacturer's training, including EV and Hybrid vehicles – desirable
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a workshop environment – essential
    • Good level of industry knowledge/awareness – desirable
    • Strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and standards – essential
    • Willingness to complete manufacturer's training courses – desirable
    • Ability to work with others and be a team player – essential
    • Highly self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve high standards – desirable
