As a Barclays Performance and Insights Reporting Manager, you will be in charge of the reporting and Insights function of the Investigations Strategy and Transformation team, which is responsible for impactful, value-added insights to enable data-drivendecisions.

You will also, be accountable for transforming data from multiple sources into meaningful reports, analytics and insights in line with the business requirements.

What will you be doing?:


  • Assisting the production of meaningful insights while working in tandem with technical and business colleagues within Investigation function
  • Carrying out Impact Assessment and creating user stories
  • Defining business transformation rules from source system through to consumer interface
  • Building and maintaining knowledge of data sources and reporting tools
  • Ensuring use of robust and errorproof practices for selection, blending and processing of appropriate data from multiple sources to meet internal customer requirements
  • Supporting overall drive to understand and continually improve MI processes of function
  • Helping and contributing to the ongoing development and monitoring of Key Risk and Performance Indicators (KRI/KPI) aligned to the Investigations function
  • Identifying and assess potential data sources and agreeing scope and priorities

What we're looking for:


  • Programming skills including SQL for data manipulation and processing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to relay complex concepts simply and clearly and to challenge and influence key stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes
  • Experience of Service Now MI user
  • Keen interest in counter crime activity

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience in Data Analysis
  • Knowledge of Data Driven Story Telling
  • Data Architecture & Asset Development experience

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Northampton.

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.

We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investmentin Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
