THE ROLE
BT's Small Cells portfolio is expanding. And the team with it.


Growing to 14 people over the past year, this is a great time to join a technical area with lots of growth on the horizon - particularly as more 4G products/services shift towards 5G.


Your role is accountable for survey & design activities on small cell delivery, and managing contractors to carry out these activities.

Using your background in acquisitions within mobile telecoms, you'll be a key player in managing relationships with local authorities, telecoms and mobile network providers.

No two days are the same here. You'll be kept engaged with a variety of challenges, and have the full support of the team behind you.


Your core duties include:

  • Delivering acquisition activities
  • Manage surveys, structural surveys, technical drawings, town planning & reporting
  • Engaging local authorities to gain approval to build on selected assets
  • Provide expertise in the design & process for trials, special projects and new assets
  • Support delivery relationship between BT Wholesale and customers

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Technical understanding of civil engineering street works infrastructure, traffic & pedestrian management
  • Experience reviewing structural survey reports on lampposts/CCTV columns
  • You're familiar with planning legislation, specific to the telecoms sector
  • Good understanding of acquisition and negotiating terms
  • You're able to manage complex stakeholder relationships

FLEXIBLE WORKING
BT have moved to a hybrid working model - you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you'll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
