Inventory Controller
Salary £26,000 dependent on experience + Company Profit Share

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Based - Luton, Bedfordshire

Our client is well established as a leading supplier to the wholesale market, with a reputation for quality, reliability and value for money.

Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join the business.

General Duties:

To carry out a range of administrative functions within the Operations Department, plus general tasks as and when required to ensure the efficient running of the department.


Responsibilities - Inventory Controller

  • To raise purchase orders for components and consumables using company reports and internal requests.
  • To raise and process Works orders for product customisation.
  • To process bookings of Goodsin as received.
  • To progress/chase required outstanding Purchase Orders and Shortages.
  • To process Goods Returns from Customers on ERP system.
  • To work with Inventory Planner/Buyer to ensure ERP system kept up to date.
  • To work with Sales department, feeding back information on availability of products where sales have exceeded forecast to warn of nonavailability of stocks.
  • To ensure all data on ERP system is kept up to date.
  • To ensuring stock records are kept up to date, and stock adjustments recorded.
  • To collate monthend reports and stock control documents and maintain stock locations to match actual locations.
  • To action various other daytoday administrative duties as may be required.

Skills/Experience - Inventory Controller

  • Numerate and literate.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of Micrososft Office packages eg: Word, Excel, Databases, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • High quality computer skills with good accuracy and highoutput speed as standard.
  • Good communicator.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a small team.
