    Quality & General Office Administrator


    Salary:
    £25,958 per annum


    Hours:
    Monday to Friday


    Based:
    Swindon (Full time on-site)


    Outline of Job Description:
    The position involves quality and general administration duties within the business. The candidate would ideally have an interest in engineering due to the nature of the role.

    Responsibilities:
    Quality & General Office Administrator


    Ensure traceability of documentation in MRP system by promptly scanning and linking production documentation including Ink marking 2nd checks, IPCS/patrol sheets, and incoming material certificates of conformity for materials and sub-contract processes.

    Processing Castings returns.
    Booking In Gauges from production.
    Calibration - assisting with external calibration of gauges and metrology.
    Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
    Monitoring and processing of Training records.
    Production set up sheets - uploading into MRP.
    Maintaining customer compliance declarations.
    Maintain Vendor appraisals for new and existing suppliers.
    Assisting with Internal Audits.
    Providing the Company with a general support service for administration duties

    Experience/Qualifications:
    Quality & General Office Administrator


    The ability to communicate; be comfortable speaking with a wide range of suppliers and staff, in person, by telephone and in writing is paramount.

    A well-presented and pleasant manner with strong interpersonal and organisational skills is essential, and you must be able to work both alone, and as part of the team.

    An understanding for the need to continually maintain confidentiality and discretion.
    Have general experience or be proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Word & Excel. This will include preparing and typing general correspondence, photocopying, scanning, and filing of documentation. Good sound IT and Keyboard skills would be beneficial.
    Ability to multi-task.
