Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading automotive company, recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to be based in Coleshill.

Working with the designers and engineers you will play a pivotal role ensuring the highest standards of quality are meet and processes adhered too.

Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:

Maintain and operate within IATF16949 quality system requirements and customer-specific requirements.
Apply Quality core tools like SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving to enhance customer satisfaction and prevent quality concerns.
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
SPC/R&R and


MSA:
Maintain and monitor statistical process control, measurement systems analysis, and capability.
Support Assembly/Project teams in creating and maintaining core tools documentation required for customer submissions.
Engage with customers and suppliers on quality issues from planning processes to problem-solving/resolutions.
HND in Mechanical/Production Eng./Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.
Proficiency in automotive quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D problem-solving.
Good knowledge of automotive new business practices like PPAP and APQP.
