Job Title: Interim Financial Accountant (3-6 Month Contract)

Location: London, Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Rate: £400per day (Outside IR35)

Finatal is currently partnered with an exciting and high-growth Fintech business who is searching for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support with the completion of year-end consolidation pack and prepare the firm for audit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help to drive the year-end process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Help the financial reporting team to compile reports to present to management.
• Clean up overdue accounts and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Work closely with external auditors to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Implement best practices and process improvements within the reporting function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Accounting qualified. ACA/ACCA or equivalent, ACA audit qualified with Big 4 is strongly desired.
• Experience working in a PE backed firm
• Strong background in managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Experience of preparing reports on budgets and financial statements (including monthly and annual reports) to present to management.
• Track record of being successfully involved in completing clean-up projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
