    About the RoleLiverpool City Council through the Active Partnership Team at MSP (Merseyside Sport Partnership) are currently recruiting for two Welfare Officers.

    As Welfare Officer you will form part of a national network funded by the National Lottery, through Sport England, with the purpose of adding capacity and expertise to the existing safeguarding work of MSP and national governing bodies of sport across the City Region.

    You will help further understand safeguarding in local community sport clubs, explore how policies and procedures are cascaded and practised, whilst helping to share learning and raise safeguarding standards.

    You will work closely with the network of Sport Welfare Officers nationally as well as other local and national organisations to connect people working on welfare and safeguarding, both inside and outside sport.
