Talent Guardian is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position with our client, a leading manufacturer located in Bala, North Wales.

The Shift Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the factory by promptly resolving breakdowns and conducting essential maintenance tasks.

Additionally, they are tasked with driving improvements across various aspects of the site, including machinery, hygiene, quality, and overall performance.

Conduct reactive and proactive maintenance tasks to uphold the highest standards throughout the entire facility.
Respond promptly to on-site breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime for plant equipment and machinery.
Efficiently perform repairs during production, either independently or as part of a team.
Implement planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules with a proactive approach to minimize downtime.
Achieve maintenance KPIs through strategic planning and execution of maintenance activities.
Ensure effective time management to minimize engineering downtime.
Maintain a daily engineering report log.
Coordinate effectively with external contractors.
Operate the effluent treatment plant when necessary.
Willingly acquire new skills and provide training when required.
Represent the Engineering department in production meetings and foster effective communication within the team.
Cultivate positive relationships with Production Managers.
Uphold a professional demeanour and positive image of the Engineering department. Minimum of 1 years of maintenance experience.
