Reward Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reward Manager. You will join the charity working 35 hours per week, on a permanent basis and will be home based. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £48,657.65 plus excellent benefits.
You will be working for the UK's leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of adoption and homing centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops.
It's an exciting time for Reward in this fantastic charity, as their newly established team is starting to develop a new and innovative Reward Strategy and develop new initiatives.
They now wish to appoint a Reward Manager who will bring specialist knowledgeand experience to evolve reward practices and help to develop the skills and best practice within the team.
The Reward team sits within the Reward and Talent Acquisition team, and the Reward Manager will report to the Head of Reward & TA and be supported bya Reward Officer.
Responsibilities of the Reward Manager:
The Reward Manager is responsible for developing the Reward and benefit strategy and solutions aligned with the business strategy enabling the charity to attract, retain and inspire the right people.
Working closely with the Head of Reward and Talent Acquisition, this role will drive the development and continual improvement of an inspiring reward and benefits offering that places people at the heart of the organisation and ensures the offer is engaged,communicated and measured for its value.
What we're looking for in a Reward Manager:
- Significant reward experience including the development and implementation of policy, frameworks and strategy
- Experience of developing a benefits package and recognition programmes
- Experience of designing and implementing pay reviews and undertaking associated pay modelling
- Experience of Hay job evaluation
- Experience of employer branding
- A positive 'cando' approach, and a creative mentality to achieve the best results within defined timeframes, flexible and adaptable
- A passion for developing a high performing team and supporting the personal development of direct reports
- Sound working knowledge of current relevant employment legislation
- CIPD qualification or equivalent Reward Management experience
