    Group Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager
    We are currently recruiting on behalf of a multi -award -winning automotive company based in the Leeds area.
    They are currently looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Group Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager.
    Leading and Managing the purchasing and logistics department.
    • Implementing strategic supply chain initiatives as well as managing supply chain operations.
    • Accountability for the day-to-day aspects of the purchasing departments.
    • Control purchasing department budgets in line with the delegation of Authority.
    • Involvement with purchasing , sales forecasting and planning process.
    • Develop and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have an understanding of the automotive industry.
    • Will have an understanding of commercial insights and trends to combat challenges with supply chain operations, e.g., legal à Brexit, Covid, import and export regulations ETC.
    • Company mileage paid for any required travel.
