Location: Knutsford

Our client, a global leader in process manufacturing located in Knutsford, is expanding its facilities maintenance team. They are introducing a new role to the business, offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers, taking charge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and promptly addressing joinery and plumbing issues as they arise. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will contribute to the fast-paced manufacturing environment, fostering growth and development within the team.

Your Role:

• Regularly assess joinery and plumbing systems to maintain, repair, and enhance functionality.
• Execute PPM tasks proficiently to uphold operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Uphold a high standard of workmanship and safety in all maintenance activities.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in joinery with comprehensive knowledge of materials and techniques.
• Ideally, possess relevant qualifications or certifications in joinery or related fields.
• Strong plumbing skills with a demonstrated ability to address plumbing issues.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach to work, comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to further develop skills and obtain plumbing qualifications.
