    Description
    Pension Consultant - Fully Remote Role

    We are searching for a skilled Pensions Consultant to join our remote DB consulting team from home. If you're interested in being part of a team that manages and advises a variety of corporate and trustee clients, this position might be right up your alley.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Cultivate strong relationships with client portfolio and grasp their needs and goals
    - Contribute significantly to enhancing the team's consulting capabilities, resources, and personnel
    - Capable of clearly explaining complex and technical matters to clients and colleagues
    - Identify solutions and potential risks for clients based on a deep understanding of their circumstances and the relevant technical, regulatory, and statutory requirements
    - Maintain a focus on clients and a commitment to quality, resulting in high levels of client satisfaction and retention
    - Support the Head of DB Consulting & Scheme Management in meeting practice objectives

    Requirements:
    - Demonstrable experience with DB Pensions in a client-facing capacity, including involvement in Scheme Events, GMP Equalization, Buy In/Outs, and Scheme Wind Up processes
    - Exposure to tasks such as scheme secretarial duties, DB pensions projects, consulting, or actuarial project work
    - Strong analytical and communication skills

    Technical Expertise:
    - AIDB Technical Competencies

    Educational Qualifications and Skills:
    Essential:
    - Honours degree (2.1 or higher)
    - Strong IT and organizational skills
    - Ability to adapt to different situations and perform well under pressure
    - Effective communication abilities
    - Proactive approach
    - Business-minded
    - Collaborates well with team members and adept at managing workloads

    Preferred:
    - Proficiency in presentation skills (or willingness to develop this skill)
    - Proficient in IT tools (Microsoft Office)
    - Partly qualified PMI
    - Experience in project management
