Escape is working with an FMCG manufacturer, who has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join their busy team.
Our client works with the majority of the major retailers to deliver their orders and the Supply Chain Team make sure that makes sure that production has what they need and when they need it.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
customer sales orders Vs forecastand maintain the production plansthe material plan and place orders for raw materials and imported produceclosely with production to support labour planningstrong relationships with Suppliers and Customersand maintain the ERP systemsreports and attend production meetingsExperience and knowledge for the role:experience working in a similar production or material planning role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExcel Skills and experience in using ERP/MRP systemsnumerical, analytical and commercial skillsattention to detail skillsmanagement skillspeople skills and can build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliersworking in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentOur client site is open 24/7, so the requirement is to work 5 days over 7 with variable start times.
