Account ManagerLondon/Home Counties£38,000 - £45,000I am currently seeking a talented Account Manager to join my client within their dynamic client services team.
It is crucial for the candidate to have excellent face-to-face and written communication skills, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment with occasional travel opportunities.As an Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with clients and HCPs to understand their needs and identify opportunities for developing high-quality medical communication solutionsActively driving projects forward and ensuring they are completed in a timely mannerWorking closely with internal teams to manage priorities and deliver solutions to the highest standardManaging project scope and budgets efficiently, communicating any issues to clients, and maintaining project profitabilityQuickly gaining a comprehensive understanding of new therapy areas to inspire confidence with clientsIdentifying new business opportunities within existing accountsSupporting new business initiatives, including participation and presentation at pitch meetingsTraining and mentoring Account Executives and conducting performance reviewsCandidates should possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a 2:1 or higher, and a strong academic backgroundMinimum of 2 years of experience in a client services role within a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical companyLiteracy and numeracy skills, with exceptional attention to detailWorking on an events account with on-site experienceFantastic opportunity for an established Senior Account Executive ready to step up, or an Account Manager looking for a new challenge in a fantastic health communications agency.
