Join us as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We'll look to you to establish and run a SRE function to help design, build, deliver and run highly reliable, scalable and secure software systems

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Tyl by NatWest Fintech, you'll be providing exceptional support to our internal and external customers through proactively managing and pioneering streamlined solutions for internal and external production systems.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

Automating request fulfilment and supporting incidents
Continuously implementing and improving tools supporting production systems, users and ITSM processes
Proactively leading improvements to release quality into production and provide highly available, performing and secure production systems
Leading and coordinating major incidents in a complex multiparty environment
Accountable for the performance of internal systems and third party supplier performance
Assisting internal users and continuously seeking new innovative ways to improve service and automate

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with prior experience in establishing and running a Site Reliability Engineering function.

You'll also demonstrate:

Handson experience of Azure
Excellent knowledge of DevOps and IT Service Management
Experience with

Full Stack Observability Preferred:
New Relic and knowledge of technologies such as PowerShell, JSON, Azure Bicep, ARM

A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement and performance bottlenecks
Knowledge of automation of IT request fulfilment process through orchestration, ServiceNow
